Bluebeam Revu is a solution used for converting Microsoft documents and CAD drawings into PDF format. The application caters to professionals in diverse fields, including architecture, engineering, mobility, general contractors, specialty contractors, structural steel, oil and gas and government services.

The application allows users to transform scanned images into text searchable documents. Bluebeam provides a set of markup tools, including text, notes, clouds CAD symbols, stamps and highlights. These markups can be supplemented by photos and videos, and can be further tracked, filtered and exported to Excel.

There is also a provision for creating custom markups in the tool chest. Project files can be uploaded to the cloud or proprietary servers and shared across the team.

Users can also create bookmarks, generate named hyperlinks and page labels. PDFs created from Bluebeam can be searched for keywords and symbols. The system additionally facilitates an electronic comparison of documents.
